| Have you ever gotten the feeling, where you are so over-whelmed and tired of studying that you are on the brink of crying or exploding - one of the two... but are forced to continue b/c to get the grade you want, all you need to do is pass the test? And then to again start it all over again tomorrow for yet another test where yet again, you will explode or cry b/c they think it's fun to give you a standardized test over stuff that was actually never covered in class, so here's to hoping that you do well enough to not screw up your nice grade.
I feel for you if you have. But I feel better now having shared.
| So kids, one check off done, one to go! For those of you who don't know, or care tough, I'm going to tell you. I had to go over 270ish spots on an adult and child, tonight I did my adult and kicked ass. Dave was my trusty partner in crime! I rocked it hardcore style. And tonight at work, I'm doing absolutely nothing! | | |
| Nursing school is hectic. I enjoyed the last two weeks of my life and now, it's all gonna go down hill from here, starting Wednesday. I have three tests in the next two weeks, then Monday before Thanksgiving, I am doing my adult check off, where I am expected to memorize an insane amount of things and do it in an hour. Oh lord, it's only worth 270 points... And even better, when I get back, that next Saturday I will be doing my child check off, it only takes 40 minutes. But then it's Christmas break and I can't wait!
I enroll soon, I think I am going to take 18 hours, but 3 are a weekend workshop, it's going to be yet another hectic semester, but I honestly am looking forward to this one more b/c it's all of our peds rotations. I need to find a pregnant person, due in April or May. They told us to go up to people at the mall or Walmart and ask them if we can use them for our core mom. How weird is that? "Hi, excuse me, would you mind if I met with you two times before you are due, go to one doctors appointment with you, oh and watch your deliver your baby, even though we are complete strangers. Wait, please don't call the cops on me, I'm not crazy, I promise."
Elections tomorrow, woo hoo!

| So... I went home with Dave this weekend and got to experience all sorts of stuff. Friday night, we went to the Concordia Homecoming game, got some good coffee, etc. I learned on the way down there, that I am awesome at feeding people while driving. Friday, late late night, I got woken up at 4 am. Someone, aka Dave, thought it would be funny to set the alarm that early.
Saturday was the big race, Dave and his mom kicked some bottom. I was quite impressed. Then we went to the parade and I got to ride in his Grandpa's awesome old car. Then we went out to eat at this restaurant, Tumbleweed Tavern, I believe it is called. I pointed out a cute baby and Dave said he would be cute in 25 years. We went to the fair and walked around and I got a cool fake tattoo of some paw prints on my foot. I let Dave pick out the tattoo. Then we hung out, had dinner, went to a movie, and had fun with the dogs. :)
Sunday we basically woke up, ate breakfast, and made our way back here. It was a good weekend.
